Random alien walls

I was just taking inventory of random supplies I have purchased in the past for our 72 hour kit. I guess this comes up because church is helping us get 72 hour kits together. I seem to have a few things that surprised me. Oh well I guess I'll save a cent or two. These were things I bought half off at the $1 or $2.50 isle at Target. I even bought rope how awesome is that. I am trying to make a list of things so I can really get to work on getting it slowly together. That's one of my current projects. I have several.
I really want to get my quilts sewn for my boys. I plan to redo their room starting with some paint and a wall instead of a window. I already have two other projects going so maybe I should finish one thing at a time. My other project is painting the hallway and getting the dining room fixed to paint.
On a happier note I got to watch the office which is a great part of my week. Josh is still not asleep and it is 10:40. I hate those subway commercials by the way cause they sound so naughty. I won't explain why either you get it or you don't but seriously. I'm going to go random. My light in the hallway will throw sparks when it gets turned on. Scares the urine right out of me. Ben got to go swimming today and is becoming a pro. I went to kickboxing and almost died but didn't so that was cool. Okey dokey well my husband want to start watching close encounters of the 3rd kind. No matter what anyone says I think this definitely proves my love for him. If I have incredibly obnoxious goofy nightmares tonight he so owes me a pride and prejudice watch. Tweb

My little guy is crying right now.  Josh has been moved to a toddler bed as of today.  We were just sick of the playpen taking up the whole room.  Josh also tends to remove all of his clothing during the night and that includes diapers.  We were running out of tape to keep the tabs on.  The playpen is past being able to keep.  the child destroyed it.  He is sleeping in a car bed you'd think he would love it but not so much.  The crying has stopped at least temporarily.
We waited until Ben fell out of the bed before he was switched to the toddler bed.  He is now sleeping on a bunk bed.  It had a slide until today when the slide was removed by his mommy.  It really made a lot of room.  We have very small bedrooms and really need to utilize our space.  I'm slowly going room to room and trying to simplify.
The biggest problem with simplifying is that I absolutely love a deal.  Garage sales our one of my many favorite things.  This last time I picked up some "Cars" cars, wooden puzzles and size 3 clothes.  I love it and it works with my budget.  I had a garage sale or two.  I hate having them.  You get up early, you put everything out and you might not sell a thing.  When I made money it was really nice though.  I bought a new set of pots and pans with the money.  We had been married four years and it was our first new set.  We used them for a while and James decided they were not perfectly flat on the bottom so I bought him a new set for Christmas.  Yeah I know romantic.
Speaking of romantic, we celebrated our five year anniversary this last weekend at the Chateau Avalon.  We stayed in the New York Penthouse.  It was fun but we won't do it again anytime soon.  The hot tub was awesome and I loved that there was a window by it.  The bed was nice and there was a very large flat screen to watch movies on.  We ordered desert from room service and it was delicious.  The service was all around great.  We had a really fun time.  There was a tornado warning that wasn't so great but that's life.  We won't go back soon just because we just don't stay in hotels much.  It was very pretty though.  OK that's the end of the first post seems kind of weird but I'm going to try and do this.  Thanks Tweb
